GA 29

State Route 29 (SR 29) is a state highway that runs southeast-to-northwest through portions of Toombs, Montgomery, Treutlen, Laurens, Wilkinson, and Baldwin counties in central Georgia. The route runs from its southeastern terminus at US 1, SR 4, and SR 15 south of Lyons to its northwestern terminus at US 441 and SR 24 just north of Milledgeville.

From its southern terminus at US 1/SR 4/SR 15 south of Lyons, SR 29 travels northwest concurrent with SR 15 to Vidalia. After heading west, briefly concurrent with US 280/SR 30, SR 15/SR 29 continue northwest to Soperton. SR 29 departs to the northwest, and intersects I-16 northwest of the city at exit 67. Continuing northwest, the route runs concurrent with SR 86 to East Dublin at US 80/SR 26, where SR 86 meets its northern terminus[citation needed]. SR 29, however, runs concurrent with US 80/SR 26, and eventually, US 319/SR 31, west to Dublin. In Dublin, SR 29 departs the other routes and travels northwest, concurrent with US 441. North of Milledgeville, SR 24 intersects the route, and continues north cosigned with US 441, while SR 29 meets its northern terminus.

SR 29 runs mostly in rural areas, and sees minor traffic, except around Vidalia, Soperton, Dublin, and Milledgeville.
