FL 228

State Road 228 (SR 228) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Florida. It runs from U.S. Highway 301 (SR 200) at Maxville east to downtown Jacksonville via Normandy Blvd. At SR 111 (Cassat Ave), it changes to Post St, connecting U.S. Highway 17/SR 15 where it proceeds to North via SR 211 Riverside Avenue East on Bay Street, splitting from U.S. Highway 17 (SR 15) at N. Main St. (U.S. Highway 1/90/(SR 5/10), to the St. Johns River on the Hart Bridge and then ends at U.S. Highway 90/SR 212 (Beach Boulevard) southeast of downtown. The portion east from downtown is mostly unsigned; part of it is signed as U.S. Highway 1 Alternate.

A shorter section of SR 228 exists in Macclenny, connecting U.S. Highway 90/SR 10 with Interstate 10/SR 8. Two sections of County Road 228 exist, one heading north from US 90 to State Road 121, and the other from I-10 southeast to US 301. Both are former pieces of SR 228.
