AL 158

State Route 158 is a ten-mile (16 km) long route in northern Mobile County in the southwestern corner of the state. The western terminus of the route is at its junction with Schillinger Road near Semmes. The eastern terminus of the route is at its junction with U.S. Highway 43 at Saraland.

State Route 158 serves as a connector route between Interstate 65 and US-45 and US-98 to the west and US-43 to the east. It is a four-lane roadway that connects Semmes with the University of Mobile and Saraland. The route widens to five lanes as it junctions State Route 213 near its interchange with Interstate 65. East of the interstate highway, the route narrows to two lanes as it continues to its junction with US-43.

The route will eventually become U.S. Highway 98 west of Mobile to the Alabama-Mississippi state line as a 4-lane bypass of Semmes.
