What are the current (Saturday December 29th) conditions on I-40 from Albuquerque to Amarillo? Is there snow/ice on the roads? If so, have the snow plows been clearing and laying down anything on the roads (e.g. salt)? Since it has stopped snowing, I assume the Interstate is at least passable by today but I have not heard any confirmation. The local ABQ news this morning hasn't mentioned anything about this area and other reports I've seen are from Thursday and Friday.

I guess I should say I’m on I-40 westbound just outside of Vian, Oklahoma. I thought the website entered the location of the accident, but it didn’t.

Currently sitting in a traffic jam due to an accident. I can see the lights of emergency vehicles where I am. Several emergency vehicles have driven by.
